Why is this goal important?

Pennsylvanians deserve a government that works and one that they can trust. In order to do this, state government must make smart investments while also finding efficiencies and improving customer service through innovations that also save money in the long term.

What are we working on to reach this goal?

In the first month in office, Governor Wolf launched GO-TIME, the Governor’s Office of Transformation, Innovation, Management and Efficiency, to modernize government operations, move agencies to embrace a culture of change and adopt private sector strategies to achieve savings. GO-TIME initiatives will save $150 million in the 15/16 fiscal year through consolidating administrative functions and smarter purchasing decisions, and by leveraging technology to maximize efficiency.
